Paper Cone
Paper cone, ideally used as packaging material of
yarn has an exclusive role to play in the textile industry. Sunny Cones is
the premier manufacturer of all types of Paper Cones from 0 to 9 degree
for the textile industry in all finishes such as Velvet, Flock, Embossed
and Groved. These paper cones have accurate dimension, zero variation in
weight and give super performance at the time of winding of yarn. Our
products are sold around the world.
Specification :
Depending upon the application, the specification of cones varies. The
popular sizes in the present textile industry are 9 deg. 15', 5 deg.57, 4
deg.20', 3 deg 30' etc.
Application:
9-15 Cones- This paper cone is principally used for hosiery yarn on the
universal cone winders.
5-57 Cones- This paper cone is mainly used for winding single, multiple
and cotton threads, synthetic yarns and twisters.
4-20 Cones- This paper cone is used in two-for-one twisters and yarn
doubling machines.
3-30 Cones- These paper cones are used to wind rayon, nylon and other
filament yarns for knitting or creding.
Surface Finish
All paper cones can be manufactured in any surface finish.
Embossing
Embossing is used for coarse and lively yarn. Embossed surface provides
extra resistance to yarn slippage. However, embossing surface is provided
for medium count yarn and for the threads, where take off could be
restricted by the above bold embossing surface. This surface holds winding
to full length, yet permits free delivery to knitting or sewing machine.
Velvet Finish
Surface is ideal for fine cotton yarn and prevents damage to delicate
filaments of synthetic fibre smoothly, without sloughing, hanging or
brewing.
Flocked
This is suitable for winding rayon, nylon and other low twist fine
filament yarns. This is a smooth cone with flock finish, provided on yarn
winding area. The effect of flock can be controlled according to twist,
denier and number of yarn filaments. Flocked surfaces also provide barrier
to minimize absorption of coning oil by the paper.
Groved
This surface is to be given to the cones for use in tyre card tipped and
carpet yarns of heavy nature.
